Role Overview
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, fault finding and carrying out small works on fire alarm systems across a portfolio of commercial customers throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands. One of the key benefits of this role is the local patch, with all sites located within approximately one hour of Birmingham, providing a better work-life balance and significantly reducing long-distance travel. This position would suit a Fire Alarm Engineer looking to grow their existing skillset and gain experience across Gent systems!
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Small Works
- Providing excellent customer service on site
- Identifying remedial works and additional opportunities
- Working in accordance with current industry standards and Health & Safety procedures
- Participating in a low-frequency call-out rota
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience servicing Fire Alarm systems
- Experience carrying out small works
- Experience working within commercial environments
- A full UK Driving Licence
- A professional and customer-focused approach
