Our client is an established Fire & Security firm looking to appoint an experienced Fire Alarm Design/Estimator to join its ever-growing projects team following the award of a significant long-term contract. Role Overview

This opportunity has arisen following the award of a major fire alarm project, with the successful candidate expected to remain involved throughout the full project lifecycle, anticipated to last approximately three years. As the Design Estimator, you will lead the design aspect of the project, working closely with BIM partners to coordinate 3D modelling while liaising with contractors, consultants and site teams to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong construction background who enjoys working on technically challenging fire alarm projects from concept through to completion.

What We Need From You:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering large-scale fire alarm projects
  • Strong construction background (FM experience will not be considered)
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Experience using Bluebeam (beneficial not essential)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work within a hybrid model, splitting time between home, the office and London project sites
  • Must be located within a commutable distance to SS postcode area, as this is not a fully remote position
