Salary - £35k-£40K Location - Dartford Securafit is an established security installation and entrance solutions company based in the UK; specialising in commercial quality physical and electronic security systems.

They are currently recruiting for an Engineering Stores Technicianto support their growing manufacturing and installation operations.

The key objectives within this role as an Engineering Stores Technician would be to optimise stock inventory, utilisation and rotation.

Provide proactive daily support to the teams in the field and undertaking effective repair of asset automation/access control.

Key duties and responsibilities: This position is key to the company's \"people-centric\" growth strategy and focuses on the following key areas: Stores and Inventory Control Responsibility for the stores organisation, ensuring efficient, high-quality repair and refurbishment of all returned assets and components.

Manage the planning and prioritisation of repairs, resources, skills allocation Maintain effective governance over spares availability, stock control coordination Ensure critical spare parts are available to support maintenance activities Maintain accurate stock records, including minimum re-order levels, stock searches and perpetual stock counts Ensure all parts delivered to stores are accurate and match purchase orders Asset recovery carrying out bench repairs to return them to a serviceable status Identify parts for refurbishment or stripped for usable sub-components Purchasing
