Job Description
The Compliance Coordinator supports CO UK in meeting the requirements of the Group Management Systems, with a particular focus on the Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001.
The role helps ensure that Group policies, processes and requirements are embedded within the UK business, while supporting the identification of local issues and opportunities for improvement.
Working with colleagues at Headquarters and across other Country Organisations, the Compliance Coordinator helps maintain local compliance documentation, coordinates audit preparation and management review activities, and tracks assigned corrective actions through to completion.
The role also supports the UK’s supplier evaluation and online assessment obligations, helping ensure that records remain up to date and the business is prepared for internal and external audits.
CO UK is also progressing the implementation of an Environmental Management System and certification to ISO 14001.
The Compliance Coordinator will assist with this work where appropriate, depending on their start date, and will help maintain the system once established.
This will include coordinating environmental documentation, monitoring ongoing requirements and supporting deliverables such as the Carbon Reduction Plan.
The environmental management system is expected to transition into the Group framework in due course.
This is an opportunity for someone looking to build on their interest or experience in quality, compliance and environmental management.
We are looking for someone who is organised, curious and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the confidence to follow up on actions and work collaboratively with colleagues.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Commercial and Compliance and Group colleagues, developing their knowledge through practical experience and collaboration while taking ownership of their responsibilities.
