We are looking for a dynamic leader to take ownership of the end-to-end installation, deployment and maintenance of an innovative product portfolio serving international customers. This is a highly visible role, responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, leading technical teams, managing customer relationships and driving operational excellence across multiple markets.
About the role as Head Of Technical Operations:
- Working closely with project management, engineering, sales, procurement and operations teams, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of customer deployments.
- You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- The position offers a flexible base location with regular travel across the UK, Europe, and internationally.
You Will:
- Lead the successful installation, commissioning and maintenance of technical equipment and systems.
- Manage project delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring commercial viability and target margins are achieved.
- Oversee resource planning, deployment of engineers and maintenance scheduling.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates, resolving issues and building long-term relationships.
- Develop and maintain training frameworks to support customer onboarding and product adoption.
- Work collaboratively with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Set, manage, and monitor project budgets, revenue forecasts and expenditure.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure all operational processes are documented and compliant with recognised quality standards, including ISO9001.
- Support the expansion of operational infrastructure and third-party logistics capabilities across international markets.
