An international technical operations leadership role based in the UK with global travel required. A scaling international business is seeking a Head of Technical Services to lead global installation, commissioning and maintenance activity across a specialist product portfolio.

This is a senior leadership role with accountability for operational delivery, technical standards and project profitability across multiple international customer environments.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will take responsibility for the end‐to‐end technical service function, including:
  • Planning and executing complex multi‐site installations
  • Deploying field‐based engineers across international projects
  • Managing service budgets and ensuring commercial viability
  • Overseeing preventative maintenance frameworks
  • Acting as senior technical contact for key accounts
  • Driving process documentation, quality and compliance standards
  • Strengthening operational efficiency and margin performance

This is a hands‐on leadership role requiring both technical credibility and commercial judgement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Senior experience leading international technical service or field engineering teams
  • Background in engineered systems, industrial equipment, specialist consumables or technical product environments
  • Demonstrable ownership of budgets, forecasting and cost control
  • Experience operating across international markets
  • Strong project management capability
  • Commercially astute with strong customer‐facing presence

You will be comfortable operating globally, managing dispersed teams and driving operational excellence in a fast‐moving environment.
