We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction team in Romford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and maintaining financial control throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency throughout project delivery.
- Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments.
- Evaluate contractor and subcontractor tenders and quotations.
- Prepare and manage contracts and procurement strategies.
- Track project progress and produce regular financial reports.
- Assess variations, change orders, and final accounts.
