This role will be based in our office in Warsaw or London. We offer flexible working with core hours between 10 am to 4 pm, and you have the freedom to schedule the remaining hours to suit your routine. In keeping with being an inspirational travel brand, we also have a ‘Work from Anywhere’ policy, so you can work from anywhere in the world for up to 4 weeks each year!

The Role & What You'll Do

  • Partner with HR to ensure all payroll and headcount data is complete, accurate, and aligned to reporting requirements, enabling timely and accurate posting of staff costs.
  • Ensure all staff costs are accurately recorded in the accounting system (Netsuite), maintaining precise account coding, descriptions, and documentation.
  • Prepare and post payroll accruals.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis versus Budget on key payroll cost lines, investigating discrepancies, and providing insightful commentary.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on headcount and staff modelling, including support on annual budgets, monthly outturns and ad hoc business partnering.
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for all staff related accounts.
  • Support year-end audit preparation by completing year end payroll reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and improve data, systems, and processes appropriate for the business to drive efficiency, aided by AI as appropriate.

You Will Bring

  • A good understanding of accounting principles and processes, along with payroll knowledge.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate financial records, from initial calculations through to final ledger postings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analysing data, including a strong aptitude for leveraging AI technologies.
  • Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience in finance operations ideally within a multi-currency, multi-subsidiary environment, whilst experience with NetSuite is beneficial but not required.
