About the role:
You will join our UX Team working hand-in-hand with technical product managers, software engineers, ML researchers, and domain experts on Secondmind's AI-powered engineering platform. Our users are specialists - calibration engineers, simulation experts - who use Secondmind to make high-stakes decisions faster. Your work will directly impact their ability to solve hard problems, make confident decisions, discover new solutions, and ultimately deliver better products to consumers globally.
What will you be responsible for?
- Leading design end-to-end across discovery, delivery, and launch
- Self-directed user research and translating findings into product decisions
- Owning the written layer: UI copy, content guidelines, user guides
- Shaping our design system and complex data visualisations as a team
What skills, experience, and qualifications do you need to succeed in this role?
Essential:
- Experience working end-to-end on complex B2B SaaS products (demonstrated in case studies showing problem, process, and impact)
- Strong visual and interaction design skills, proven on data-heavy interfaces
- Practical experience working with data and data visualisation
- Experience running user research studies and translating insights into actions
- Strong writing and content design skills (demonstrated in case studies)
- Demonstrated experience translating empathy towards users into business value
Good to have:
- Experience in a technically complex, regulated, or enterprise domain
- Professional or personal experience solving problems or building things (maker mindset)
- Ability to work across cultures (we work with users in Japan, India, Europe, USA)
