We are seeking a skilled, qualified (level 3 and above) and dedicated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and mechanical knowledge to identify vehicle issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repair tasks efficiently.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manoeuvring of vehicle components safely and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing client concerns professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in automotive repair is essential.
