As a Security Install Engineer in SECOM’s High Security Services (HSS) division, you’ll play a key role in the installation and commissioning of advanced intruder alarms, IP CCTV, access control, and VMS platforms across high-security client sites. You’ll work from detailed specifications and drawings to ensure systems meet exacting standards, contributing to a smooth project lifecycle and exceptional client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing high-security systems to specification
- Reading technical drawings
- Planning site activity
- Working closely with the project and service teams
- Configuring systems
- Performing quality checks
- Attending site inductions
- Recording digital documentation
- Ensuring all installations comply with relevant standards and client expectations
The ideal candidate will have experience installing intruder alarms, IP CCTV, and access control systems, ideally within high-security or regulated environments. A full UK driving licence is required, and knowledge of Galaxy, Pacom, and integrated VMS systems is highly desirable. You’ll be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth handovers.
