The Junior Planner will support the planning and coordination of fire and security system installations, during a period of maternity leave cover. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience within the fire and security industry, supporting engineer scheduling, resource coordination, and operational delivery to agreed standards and timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and scheduling engineers for fire and security installations.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly schedules to meet customer, contractual, and operational requirements.
  • Liaise with engineers, supervisors, customers, and subcontractors regarding appointments and access arrangements.
  • Accurately update planning systems, job records, and documentation.
  • Monitor job progress and assist with rescheduling where required.
  • Ensure planning activities align with health & safety procedures and company policies.
  • Support compliance with industry standards and service level agreements.
  • Produce basic planning and performance reports as required.
