About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa, a beautiful country house hotel set in the Suffolk countryside. You will take responsibility for running a section of the kitchen, delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service across our restaurant, weddings, and events. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie looking to develop within a professional, supportive brigade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run and manage your own kitchen section during prep and service
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Ensure mise en place is organised, efficient, and service-ready
  • Work closely with the Sous Chefs and Head Chef across restaurant, weddings, and events
  • Support and guide junior kitchen team members
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards

About You

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
  • Ideally some pastry experience
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal food and high hospitality standards
  • Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • A positive team player with a willingness to learn and progress
  • Level 2 Food Safety (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
