Summary

Activities & Wellbeing Lead

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Enhanced rates for weekends

35 hours per week

Mix of shifts working 9-5pm and 11-7pm during the week and alternate Saturday availability essential

Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate stimulating activities; promote independence and choice to suit the needs and interests of residents.
  • Coordinate a successful activities and volunteer programme within Seckford Care.
  • Manage internal and external communication about activities-focused programmes for residents.
  • Network within the local community to recruit, train and place volunteers within the home alongside other activity team members.
  • Maintain and develop the calendar of events, including fitness, arts & crafts, musical events, group discussions, and trips to places of interest.
  • Collaborate with the activities team to ensure high-quality delivery of activities across residents.
  • Possess a clean driving licence as you may need to drive the company minibus.

Qualifications

  • Clean driving licence (required as there may be driving duties).

About Seckford Care

Seckford Care is an award-winning, CQC Outstanding care facility based in a Grade 2 listed building in the heart of Woodbridge. We provide 30 Extra Care apartments for independent living with 24-hour carers support, as well as 26 residential care rooms in Jubilee House with meals, laundry and cleaning provided. Our dedicated Activities team facilitates a wide range of activities for all residents at Seckford Care.
