The name Hasler is a worldwide synonymous of Swiss quality in the railway sector and is well anchored in it. HaslerRail is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager RailData. The position can be based in Manchester (UK) or Bern (Switzerland).
Main tasks:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international railway markets to achieve sales targets for the HaslerRail RailData products
- Supporting Sales Managers in actively promoting RailData products
- Driving HaslerRail Agents to actively promote RailData products and capabilities
- Presenting and demonstrating the RailData solutions in a way that prospective customers understand how the solutions can address particular use cases and pain points.
- Working with selected customer accounts with a view to actively promoting product enhancements and, where relevant, upselling additional products
- Working with selected customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Continually seek to further understand the ‘Voice of the Customer’ from a train operators’ perspective
- Working with the RailData software team providing market insights and feedback on potential product enhancements
- Ensure the HaslerRail CRM is the single source of truth for RailData opportunities to enable robust reporting and forecasting
- Following standard governance with regards to Bid Reviews
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to potential customers, showcasing our railway solutions and services.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, promote our brand, and stay updated on industry developments.
- Support Sales Team Leader and Director of Sales & Marketing regarding budget and strategy whenever needed
- Engineering and/ or Data Science is advantageous.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the railway industry or similar sectors.
- Proven experience in sales and business development of cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
- Strong understanding of global railway markets, technologies, and regulatory environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- English native speaker or at least C1.
- Italian, Spanish or other languages are a plus.
- Passionate about sales and eager to take on new challenges in the international railway market.
- Willingness to learn about the customers business and develop an indepth understanding of the rail industry.
