For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Manchester a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Technician.
Main Tasks
- Provide technical support and service for HaslerRail’s on-board electronics (data recorders, HMIs, speed sensors, energy metering, gateways).
- Ensure high availability and safety for customer fleets through troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and training.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and calibrations (workshop & field).
- Deliver preventive maintenance under SLAs.
- Provide customer training and technical support.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and railway standards.
Requirements
- Technical education in electronics/electromechanics.
- 3+ years hands-on repair/testing experience.
- Knowledge of railway electronics and communication systems (WTB/MVB/Ethernet).
- English required; German/French a plus.
- Willingness to travel (20–30%).
- Customer-oriented, precise, proactive.
- Familiarity with the railway or broader transportation sector.
- Previous exposure to CRM systems and digital service platforms.
- Ability to interpret basic technical documentation or schematics.
