As a Pre-Sales (Technical), you will work closely with the sales team, technical teams, and prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements and propose appropriate solutions from our service portfolio. As a Pre-Sales (Technical), you will work closely with the sales team, technical teams, and prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements and propose appropriate solutions from our service portfolio. This is a client-facing role that requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and security.
Tasks
- Collaborate with sales to understand client needs and position appropriate cybersecurity services
- Deliver technical presentations and demos that communicate the value and scope of our services (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, DORA/ISO compliance, etc.)
- Support the preparation of proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and RFP/RFI responses
- Scope and define technical requirements and resource estimates for service delivery
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business-relevant language for stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, tools, and industry trends
- Act as a bridge between client teams and internal delivery teams to ensure project feasibility and accuracy
- Attend industry events, client meetings, and partner engagements as a technical representative
Requirements
- 3+ years in pre-sales, consulting, or technical sales support role within cybersecurity or IT services
- Understanding of the cyber threat landscape
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of Cyber Services markets e.g. Penetration Testing, Red Team/Purple Team, Adversary Simulation, risk and compliance frameworks ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, CREST. TIBER etc.)
- Willingness to travel to regular F2F end user meetings
- Familiarity with tools and standards such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK etc
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
- Experience using CRM and sales analytics platforms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
- Bachelorโs degree
Desirable
- CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or similar are a strong advantage
- 5+ years in pre-sales, consulting, or technical sales support role within cybersecurity or IT services
- Experience in the enterprise space
