We are seeking a part-qualified or recently qualified European and/or Chartered Patent Attorney to join our growing Patents group in our York or Newcastle-Upon-Tyne office. We are keen to hear from candidates with an excellent academic background ideally in Computer Science, Physics, or Electronic Engineering.

You will work with highly-experienced Partners and associates, gaining valuable training and mentoring whilst providing exceptional quality of service to our impressive and expanding client base.

About you

  • We are looking for candidates holding part-qualification in the UK and EQE exams through to those with newly qualified experience.
  • Experience of drafting, filing and prosecuting UK, European and PCT applications.
  • Commitment to providing consistent top-quality advice to clients.
  • A self-starter with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A good listener who is able to take on board and act on feedback.
  • An understanding of the business needs of our clients.
