As a member of the Operational Resilience team, you will develop, implement and maintain Seccl’s business continuity capability as part of our broader operational resilience framework. You will help safeguard stakeholders, maintain critical operations and recover swiftly from disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the business continuity management system to keep it current and effective.
- Facilitate business impact and continuity risk assessments across the organisation.
- Work with stakeholders to develop, review and maintain practical continuity plans.
- Support operational resilience activities, including documentation, evidence and records for regulatory compliance.
- Design, coordinate and facilitate business continuity, operational resilience and crisis‑management exercises.
- Assess test outcomes, identify lessons learned and track remediation actions to completion.
- Produce high‑quality reporting for senior management, governance forums and the board.
- Use insight, trend analysis and management information to support risk‑based decision making.
- Support third‑party continuity and resilience assessments.
- Identify opportunities to improve resilience processes through tooling, automation and data‑driven reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in operational resilience, business continuity management or a related risk discipline within financial services.
- Strong understanding of FCA Operational Resilience requirements and EU DORA obligations.
- Experience designing, facilitating and evaluating scenario exercises and resilience testing programmes.
- Ability to produce clear, insightful governance reporting and present findings confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable maintaining policies, standards, procedures and evidence for regulatory, audit and assurance purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong risk mindset and capacity to balance regulatory expectations with practical, commercial and operational realities.

Interview Process
- First stage – 45‑minute competency‑based interview with the hiring manager and another team member.
- Second stage – one‑hour technical interview or assessment.
- Final stage – 45‑minute bar‑raiser culture‑based interview.
