We’re also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that\’s on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries, through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money.

The role
Our operations analysts are part of collaborative, cross-functional teams united by an absolute focus on problem-solving, innovating, and delivering great customer outcomes. These are teams of experts, big thinkers, and fast learners who love to get stuff done.
As an Operations analyst in our SIPP team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
You\’ll have a brilliantly varied role working across essential processes within the Seccl SIPP space—working across the business and with your team to identify and resolve technical issues, see customer requests through to resolution, and ensure we’re always meeting our SLAs. You\’ll work collaboratively with our other ops teams, alongside customer success, product owners and engineers.
You\’ll be a proactive problem solver and a fast learner with a strong work ethic and tons of energy. We’re ideally looking for candidates who have previous experience in a similar role or if you don\’t, can really show us why you\’d be a great fit here.
This is an exciting, varied and fast-paced role with an enormous opportunity to create impact and develop in your career.
On a typical day you will be…
- Working closely with internal teams and key third parties to complete core SIPP processes—ensuring customers\’ money and investments are managed smoothly and accurately
- Proactively investigating and resolving technical issues or customer queries, always keeping the client front and centre
- Analysing data to spot trends or root causes and using your insights to improve how we operate
- Completing daily reconciliations and ensuring accurate reporting to meet regulatory and business standards
- Supporting your Operations delivery lead with regular reporting and updates to the wider business and regulators
- Collaborating with product, engineering and customer-facing teams to explore better ways of working and help us scale
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements to workflows and processes—bringing a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do
- Supporting other areas of Operations as needed and helping to train new team members
This role’s for you if you…
- Are a proactive self-starter who loves solving problems and making things happen
- Have a good understanding of tax wrappers like DC Pensions, ISAs, and JISAs—or are keen to learn quickly
- Take a high level of ownership for delivering great client outcomes
- Are resilient and calm under pressure, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment with lots of change
- Are a collaborative team player with great communication skills, working effectively across teams to get the job done
- Have strong data analysis skills and are comfortable working with complex data sets, along with excellent attention to detail
- Are organised and take responsibility for managing your tasks and daily activities
This role isn’t for you if…
- You rely on a lot of top-down direction. Here, you’ll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you’ll be expected to shape your own progression
- You’re not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
- You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
- You don’t like change. You’ll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
