The role
We’re looking for an Operations analyst to join our Trading team. You’ll play a key role in managing the trade lifecycle, with a primary focus on CREST matching, settlement, and exception management, ensuring trades are processed accurately and on time. Alongside CREST activity, you’ll also support fund trading operations, transaction reporting, and error corrections, helping to maintain strong controls and smooth end-to-end processes. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with brokers, fund managers, and internal teams, while also delivering essential regulatory obligations.
On a typical day you will be…
Monitoring exchange-traded instruments from capture through to CREST settlement.
Investigating and resolving unmatched or failed trades, ensuring issues are closed within market deadlines.
Working with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to resolve exceptions and settlement breaks.
Taking ownership of operational queries, escalating and resolving in line with SLAs and regulatory requirements.
Supporting key controls such as MiFID II reporting, best execution monitoring, and CASS reconciliations.
Contributing to process improvements and helping the team adapt as the business scales.
This role’s for you if…
You have a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, particularly CREST matching and settlement.
You bring experience from asset management, trading operations, or investment operations.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
You are highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable communicating with multiple stakeholders.
You enjoy solving problems, with strong analytical skills and confidence working with complex data.
You take ownership of your work and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
This role isn’t for you if…
You rely on a lot of top-down direction. Here, you’ll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you’ll be expected to shape your own progression
You’re not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
You don’t like change. You’ll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
What’s in it for you…
We offer a generous mix of benefits for the things that really matter to our people, including:
A salary between £30,000 and £35,000 – dependant on experience + reviewed annually
