The role
We're looking for a Third‑party manager to join us, reporting into the Head of operational resilience. You'll work closely with teams across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Commercial, Technology and Operations to help strengthen and scale Seccl's third‑party management capability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and embedding a consistent supplier management framework as Seccl continues to grow, ensuring we meet evolving regulatory expectations while enabling the business to move at pace.
Our Operational resilience and Risk & Compliance teams play a critical role in protecting the business, our clients, and our platform as we scale. Working across all areas of the organisation, the team is focused on building robust operational resilience, strengthening supplier oversight, and ensuring Seccl remains compliant with FCA and DORA requirements. With a broad and varied supplier landscape across multiple departments, this role offers the opportunity to influence how third‑party risk and supplier governance are managed across the business, partnering with SMEs and relationship owners to drive consistency and best practice throughout the supplier lifecycle.
On a typical day you will be...
- Co‑ordinating and embedding third‑party management and operational resilience requirements across the supplier lifecycle
- Acting as the central point of co‑ordination for supplier onboarding, due diligence, approvals, and documentation
- Supporting relationship owners with supplier performance management, including oversight of SLAs, KPIs, risks, and escalations
- Driving consistency across supplier governance processes while partnering with SMEs who retain ownership of supplier relationships and contracts
- Working collaboratively with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Commercial, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure supplier arrangements remain compliant and fit for purpose
- Supporting the development of supplier exit plans, resilience activities, and scenario testing exercises
- Producing reporting, management information, and governance updates for senior stakeholders and risk committees
- Supporting incident reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen supplier resilience and operational processes
This role's for you if...
- You have experience managing third‑party suppliers across the full supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, performance management, and renewals
- You have a strong understanding of third‑party risk management and outsourcing requirements within FCA‑regulated environments
- You're confident building relationships and working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple business areas
- You have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple suppliers, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously
- You're comfortable providing oversight and constructive challenge where supplier performance or risk thresholds are not being met
- You have excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
- You have experience within financial services, fintech, or another regulated environment
- Experience of operational resilience, business continuity (ISO22301), information security (ISO27001), or scenario testing is desirable
This role isn't for you if...
- You rely on a lot of top‑down direction. Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression
- You're not comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
- You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
- You don't like change. You'll get on well here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
