A growing consultancy is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant (Lead) Health Economist to join their team. This role suits someone who is technically strong, strategically minded, and passionate about mentoring and leading others.

What you'll be doing:

  • Playing a key leadership role in delivering high-quality health economics projects, with responsibilities including:
  • Providing technical direction and quality control across economic modelling, data collection, referencing, and reporting.
  • Leading the development of model specifications and economic models, including validation and troubleshooting.
  • Planning and executing statistical analyses and offering strategic advice.
  • Managing client relationships, leading on communication, and presenting findings with authority.
  • Managing projects from inception through to delivery within timelines and budgets, including invoice preparation.
  • Supporting business development through proposal writing and pitch delivery.
  • Contributing to team development through line management, mentoring, and recruitment support.
  • Sharing expertise via blog posts and webinars.

What we're looking for:

  • MSc in Health Economics or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in hands-on economic modelling.
  • Deep experience in de novo model development, technical reporting, and HTA submissions.
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills.
  • A track record of mentoring junior team members.
  • Proven ability to lead proposals and identify new project opportunities.
