Our leading International client are looking for a highly experienced strategic Operational Transformation Programme Manager to lead a large-scale digitally enabled operational transformation programme across their global organisation. The focus/objective of the programme is on improving efficiency, improving customer experience through the utilisation of digital tools and optimising service delivery and field technician productivity. The role will initially be responsible for the Phase 0 concept and design phase with the objective to deliver a business case and delivery plan, however a successful design phase will potentially lead to a programme execution role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional programme team focused on operational transformation.
- Provide digitally enabled operational transformational leadership and expertise to help guide the organisation through the concept and design phase.
- Develop and maintain the programme plan, timelines, and budget.
- Align programme goals with strategic business objectives and operational targets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful change adoption.
- Track programme progress, mitigate risks, and manage interdependencies between projects.
- Develop clear and concise reporting for executive leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and partners involved in the transformation efforts.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the business.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale operational transformation programmes across complex federated Global organisations.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Project/programme management certification (e.g., MSP, PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to influence and drive change in a complex, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, automation, or ERP implementation projects.
