We’re hiring BD Associates to join either our EU or US team. This is a sales-driven role where you’ll be responsible for building and growing a defined market within life sciences. If you’re motivated by commercial conversations, enjoy speaking with people, and want a role where your activity directly drives your results, this could be a strong fit.

You’ll be working with organisations across biotech, pharma, and MedTech, identifying opportunities, speaking with candidates, and selling our recruitment services to new and existing clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • This role is fundamentally about new business development. You will:
  • Make high-volume outbound calls each day to identify leads and win new clients
  • Sell our recruitment services and book in exploratory calls
  • Build and rebuild your assigned RIG, developing warm and cold relationships
  • Speak with candidates to understand their skills and project preferences
  • Take clear hiring briefs and support the recruitment process where needed
  • Maintain a structured day plan and keep the CRM fully updated

While much of your activity will be outbound, there is warmth - you’ll have access to existing candidates, previous clients, and targeted prospect lists you can start calling immediately.

You don’t need recruitment experience - but you do need to be proactive, comfortable having commercial conversations, and willing to learn quickly. You might come from:

  • A sales or customer-facing background, or
  • Up to a year of experience in recruitment (any sector).
