As the official catering partner for The Scottish Event Campus (SEC), SEC Food by Levy are excited to be expanding our exceptional team. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our Live Entertainment team on a casual and flexible basis.

JOB SUMMARY
Assisting with all daily operations of the Live Entertainment team in the SEC and Hydro. To provide exceptional service to our customers and the SEC client. Drive foodservice and support service solutions that exceed new and existing customer requirements and expectations. Demonstrate commercial value to your leadership teams, in line with the One Compass vision, values and overall business strategy.

Role Responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Live operation and its overall part in the SEC operation.
- Reporting to management team and assisting them in all managerial tasks.
- Supporting the operational team leaders and delegating tasks and stations accordingly.
- Displaying exceptional hospitality and restaurant standards.
- Leading by example, delegating to team leaders to ensure all operational procedures are being followed.
- Training new members of staff to Levy standards.
- Ensuring all areas are properly set up and closed by team members.
- On shift team management - ensuring team are preforming to set standards and conducted outlined for Live operations
- Base understanding of P&L to know where and when to drive efficiencies in variable payroll.
- Reporting any maintenance issues to senior management.
- Ensuring all team are presentable and adhering to company standards
- Liaising with staffing to ensure staffing levels are appropriate / organising cover where necessary.
- Ensure environmentals are correct: music, lighting, temperature (where possible)
- Following any reasonable request from senior management
- Complies with Compass Group policies and procedures.
- Working hours as required to do your job on a casual basis.
- Identifying knowledge gaps within the team and assist management in tying in with training co-ordinator to remedy this.
- Being an active part of the operation to drive sales opportunities and keep the team motivated.
- Look for innovative ways to improve and streamline service.
- Focus on allergens and ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.
- Able to tie in with other departments and give/send support where viable.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with the SEC client.
