Experienced Steel Slitting and Decoiling Line Operators
Location: Sebden Steel, Brierley Hill
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:00pm, Friday 7:00am–3:00pm
About the Role
Due to continued growth, Sebden Steel’s Brierley Hill site is seeking two experienced Steel Slitting and Decoiling Line Operators to join our skilled and expanding production team. You’ll play a key role in the efficient operation of our processing lines, maintaining high standards of quality, output, and safety.
Your Profile
Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge- Proven experience as a Decoiling Line Operator, including leveller setting and working to close tolerances
- Experience operating Slitting Lines for either heavy or light gauge production
- Strong ability to monitor and manage both product quality and output
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Accurate completion of all production paperwork
- Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team
- Flexible, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude
- Valid Forklift Truck licence
- Experience with Overhead Cranes
