Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Air Conditioning Installer located in Portsmouth. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems across residential and commercial properties. You will perform diagnostic assessments, ensure compliance with safety standards, collaborate with team members, and provide clients with expert technical support. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation of services provided and assisting with the planned preventative maintenance of HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems, as well as undertaking system diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and proper operation of HVAC systems
- Proficiency in handling tools, equipment, and technologies related to air conditioning and HVAC installations
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with team members
- Ability to execute planned preventative maintenance for HVAC systems and ensure optimal functionality
- Relevant certifications, such as F-Gas certification, and familiarity with local building and safety codes
- Previous experience in plumbing, electrical systems, or mechanical works is a plus
- Flexibility to work on-site across various locations in Portsmouth and surrounding areas
