Seaworthy Consulting are looking for a part-time HR Manager to join a Marine company that operates workboat vessels. The role will consist of overseeing the Human Resources of shoreside personnel. The ideal candidate is someone with a Marine background, has experience working in HR, including policy and procedures development, performance management, and staff development. This is a hybrid role working over 2 days a week.
The successful candidate would be required but not limited to:
- Taking the lead in all HR matters
- Being overall responsible for company payroll, contracts, grievance and disciplinary issues
- Providing support to staff regarding HR issues
- Writing up/updating company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- CIPD level 5 qualified or studying towards it
- Ability to think strategically and ensure HR issues are addressed in the strategy and operational plans
- Ensure HR standards and values are maintained across the organisation
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £15,000 per annum
