The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

Hours: part time 22-24 hrs per week (flexible days and nights)

Rate of pay: £12.71 - £13.20 per hour

Main responsibilities:

  • To assist in the giving of direct care under the supervision of trained staff.
  • To maintain the confidentiality of patients in our care.
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness by keeping the patient environment clean (adhering to infection control and health).
  • Mouth and eye care.
  • Help with toileting/empty urine catheters and commodes.
  • Give out meals and drinks to help patients eat and drink.
  • Assist patients to mobilize (walk/stand/transfer using aids if required).
  • Escort patients as and when required around the home as appropriate.
  • Assist patients to be comfortable and safe.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience working in a care home environment.
  • Good communication, flexibility, integrity and good team working skills.
