Seaview House Private Nursing Home is a small, 22 bed, independent nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay. We are looking for a Health Care Assistant (days and nights available) to join our team and would love to hear from you. Part time and full time hours available - flexible working times - no sponsorships available.
Responsibilities:
- To support residents to achieve their best life in accordance with their care plans and wishes.
- To support and lead the care team in delivering best care in accordance with policies and best practice guidelines.
- To continually monitor residents’ mental status and cognitive abilities within the framework of their care plans, and report any concerns immediately.
- To assist in the giving of direct care under the supervision of trained staff.
- Assist with patients’ hygiene needs e.g. washing/showering/bed-bathing.
- Assist patients to mobilize (walk/stand).
