Seaview House Private Nursing Home is a small, 22-bed, independent nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay. We are currently looking for a Clinical Lead to join our team - we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- You will provide effective professional leadership on all issues relating to clinical excellence within the home and lead a team of RNs and HCAs as necessary.
- Have a good knowledge of RQIA & Care Home regulations and ensure that continued RQIA compliance is maintained.
- Be part of the SMT on-call rota and deputise for the Home Manager during any periods of absence to assist with clinically related matters, rota cover and any other duties arising.
- Effectively manage your own workload, prioritising tasks and maintaining excellent written and verbal communication and record keeping.
- Maintain knowledge of the residents’ care plans ensuring they reflect the current health & support needs of the resident at any given time.
Skills and Qualifications:
- RN (RGN) with an active PIN.
- Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead a diverse and highly qualified nursing team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to drive change & promote positive working relationships with key stakeholders & staff.
- Good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, RQIA compliance & care home standards.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle during working hours.
