Seaview House Private Nursing Home is a small, 22-bed, independent nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay. We are currently looking for an Assistant Healthcare Practitioner to join our team - we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- To play a vital role within the nursing home, working under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Responsibilities include patient care, assisting in the planning and delivery of patient care and total patient assessments, and providing direct support to our patients.
- Performing higher clinical tasks such as completing pre-admission assessments and facilitating admissions into the nursing home, care planning, and an in-depth understanding of illness and health in the elderly.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 6 months employment in a similar role.
- Relevant qualification in level 4 or 5 such as a foundation degree in health and social care or equivalent.
