We are experts in digital transformation. We provide clubs and venues with the technology that brings all aspects of the hospitality booking process online, improving the customer experience and giving fans 24/7 access to premium experiences.
Our brand partnerships have grown significantly over the past six months. We now exclusively power hospitality and premium ticket sales through 24 direct partnerships, and work officially with hundreds more.
Following the launch of our website in September 2019, we have received significant investment in our business. We are backed by former Wales and Lions captain Sam Warburton OBE (Brand Ambassador), and England Rugby Union legend Sir Clive Woodward OBE (Board Advisor), and since October 2022, Wales and Ospreys winger George North (Brand Ambassador)
We are looking for a passionate and talented Back-end Engineer with significant experience building back-end services with Ruby on Rails. You should have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience, a positive attitude, and a passion for building high quality user experiences using software engineering best practices and patterns.

Requirements
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience building back-end services with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
- Deep knowledge of the Rails and Ruby ecosystem, tools and best practices
- Experience working with common Rails gems like Sidekiq, Devise, RSpec
- Designing and building RESTful APIs for consumption by web and mobile applications
- A strong understanding of software architecture patterns and when to use them
- Relational Database design, implementation, optimisation and maintenance
- Experience scaling back-end services in a rapidly growing business with very high traffic spikes during sales
- An understanding and appreciation of:
- Automated testing
- Cyber-security issues and mitigations
- Application performance issues and solutions
- Software design patterns and when to use them
- Agile, cross-functional and empowered team background
- Enjoy working with product owners, front-end and devops engineers to create great products
- Strong communication, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Passionate about your craft
Bonus / additional skills
- Experience building ecommerce and marketplace products
- Interest and understanding of functional programming languages, and experience building services with Elixr and Pheonix
- Cloud infrastructure build and maintenance, especially using IaC and Kubernetes on AWS
- Computer Science or other relevant degree
