Health Club Supervisor – Hotel & Leisure | Sea Space, Cornwall | 20 hours + PT space on us
A brighter perspective, maintained.
Sea Space blends the freedom of independent living with the comforts of hotel‑style perks.
With a neighbourhood energy at its heart, we’re inviting everyone in to make coastal living their own for an hour, a day, a week, or more.
We're matching real SEA spirit with the SPACE, flex, and freedom to choose how you live it. That's Sea Space.
Our Health Supervisor role
Ready to make waves in our Health Club?
We’re looking for a Leisure Club Supervisor to help keep things running smoothly, from welcoming members at the front desk to delivering inductions and keeping our gym looking (and feeling) its best.
You’ll also bring the energy to eight fitness classes each week, helping our members move, train and have a good time while they’re at it.
And there’s more.
Outside your usual hours, you’ll have the freedom to run your own personal training sessions, keeping 100% of your income, with your training space completely rent-free.
Personal training sessions will need to be agreed with our Head of Health Club and scheduled around your contracted hours, classes and the day‑to‑day running of the Health Club.
What we’re looking for
You’re hands‑on, full of energy and know your way around a gym floor. You care about fitness, people and creating the kind of experience that makes members want to come back.
You’ll bring
- A Level 3 Personal Training qualification and a solid understanding of functional training, strength and conditioning.
- Experience delivering group exercise classes and engaging one‑to‑one PT sessions.
- A good eye for the gym floor, keeping things safe, organised and running smoothly.
- The confidence to work with everyone, adapting your approach to suit different abilities, goals and fitness levels.
- Strong communication, admin and basic IT skills, with a friendly, positive approach.
- A creative streak, whether that’s fresh class ideas or fitness programmes that keep people motivated.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how great PT and member experiences help people stick around and thrive.
- A passion for fitness and wellness, and a genuine desire to create exceptional experiences.
- The flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
- A positive, can‑do attitude and the ability to be part of a supportive, spirited team.
- The ability to balance your contracted responsibilities with your own PT sessions.
Fire warden experience is preferred, but most importantly you’ll be someone who enjoys being around people, brings good energy to the room and wants to make a difference.
At Sea Space, we’re a group of individuals who have each other’s backs.
We're eager to step up, keen to make every shift the best it can be and recognise that Sea Space’s shared spirit is made by its people.
As our Health Club Supervisor you’ll be
- The face of our Health Club, creating a positive, energetic experience for members and guests.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the club, from front desk and gym floor support to member admin and inductions.
- Keeping the gym safe, tidy, organised and guest‑ready.
- Delivering up to 8 classes per week across mornings, evenings and weekends, covering strength, conditioning, HIIT, mobility and functional fitness.
- Supporting member check‑ins, programme reviews and progress, building relationships that keep people motivated and coming back.
- Working closely with the Head of Health Club and wider Sea Space team, sharing feedback and helping improve the member experience.
- Following our health & safety standards and helping create a welcoming, motivating space to train.
- Playing your part in Sea Space’s sustainability goals and wider team culture.
What we can offer in return
- A relaxed, professional place to work in a beautiful location
- Special rates for you and your friends and family to stay at Sea Space, Watergate Bay Hotel and Another Place Hotels
- Reduced gym membership rates (gym, classes, no pool) for on‑site team
- Discounts for you and your friends and family at our restaurants
- Discounts on retail and land&water products and on treatments in Swim Club
- Free surf lessons, surfboards and wetsuit hire from Wavehunters
- Team social events throughout the year
- Team assistance scheme – a dedicated helpline for support & advice on topics from mental health through to managing your finances
If you’re into fitness, love working with people and fancy doing your thing somewhere with a serious coastal vibe, we’d love to hear from you.
