We’re looking for a Housekeeping Porter to help keep SeaSpace running smoothly, day in and day out. This is a zero-hours position, typically working 35 hours per week. You’ll be 5 days on, 2 days off, with rest days rotating between Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to keep delivery days covered. Eligibility for this role requires being at least 25 years old to operate a company vehicle. The expected start date is 21 May 2026.

This role is all about supporting our housekeeping and operations teams behind the scenes. From managing linen and stock, to keeping our apartments and public spaces guest-ready, you’ll be jumping in wherever needed to make sure everything flows. Hands on with deliveries, driving the work van, and preparing apartments for cleaning, this physical and fast-paced role requires someone organised, reliable, and happy to muck in as part of a close-knit team, helping create an effortless coastal stay for our guests.

As our Housekeeping Porter you’ll be:

  • Organising and managing linen throughout the hotel.
  • Assisting with deliveries and collections, including linen collection days.
  • Supporting with heavy lifting and manual handling.
  • Driving the hotel work van for deliveries and collections.
  • Completing stock takes and organising key storage areas.
  • Preparing apartments in advance for cleaning.
  • Cleaning corridors and public areas.
  • Delivering items to guests (cots, extra beds, linen).
  • Assisting our Housekeeping team with cleaning duties as required, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ensuring all beds are made to a high standard, supporting the housekeeping team.

  • Previous hotel or facilities experience preferred (but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (housekeeping, porter, laundry assistant) is an advantage
