Our Host role
Helping arrivals settle in, you'll be at the heart of the SeaSpace experience, making sure every guest receives a warm welcome from the moment they arrive.
You'll also help keep our Front Desk running smoothly, responding to guest queries, sharing your local knowledge, and supporting the wider team wherever needed.
This is a part-time position of 32.5 hours per week, working over 5 days. It also comes with some great extras, including free surfing lessons and a wide range of team benefits.
As our Host you’ll be
- A welcoming presence, willing to lend a helping hand.
- Sharing your local knowledge, with top tips and insights that others might not have – you’re always happy to give guests your recommendations.
- Assisting with front desk tasks.
- Hosting across multiple areas from our Front Desk to our Swim Club and Gym areas.
- Supporting our Café team during peak times.
- Listening attentively to complaints and helping to the best of your ability.
- Helping our less tech-savvy guests with our check in/out process, making it a breeze.
- Helping the smooth running of guest-related tasks.
- Ensuring all guest complaints are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Undertaking any other duties necessary to ensure we provide excellent levels of guest service.
The skills you’ll be sharing with us
- Experience in a customer-focused role
- An ongoing commitment to providing high-end customer experience
- Team player skills, with bags of enthusiasm and personality
- An approachable manner and strong guest focus
- Excellent people skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the local area and amenities to help with recommendations (preferred)
