Our Café Host role

We’re looking for a Café Host with a spark and spirit that makes every day brighter.

Lattes and lazy lunches, smooth service and a sunny outlook, bustling mornings and calmer afternoons. That’s our Sea Space café lifestyle – which you’ll embrace every day.

  • As our Café Host you’ll be
  • Welcoming guests with warmth, making them feel comfortable and looked after.
  • Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks with flair, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
  • Taking and serving food orders, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
  • Maintaining smooth operation of your section, keeping areas tidy, stocked, and organised.
  • Supporting the café team during busy periods and stepping in to assist wherever needed.
  • Complying with all Health and Safety and food hygiene policies.
  • Participating in training to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Helping to create a positive and collaborative working environment for team.
  • Proactively supporting Sea Space’s sustainability and B Corp initiatives in day-to-day operations.
  • The skills you’ll be sharing with us
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred)
  • A flexible attitude to working hours
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with guests and colleagues alike
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, with barista experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and people skills, making every guest feel valued
  • Ability to stay organised and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for learning and improving your craft

  • Basic understanding of food hygiene standards and health and safety
