Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Marketing Executive to support the delivery of marketing activity across two vibrant hospitality brands — a luxury hotel and spa, and a self-catering holiday resort and lodge sales business. This role will act as the bridge between strategic direction and day-to-day execution, working closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, deliver, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns as well as key business projects and brand pillars. You will work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Team, offering support and coordination across all marketing channels to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign & Project Management
- Support planning and coordination of marketing campaigns across both brands (hotel/spa offers, resort occupancy, lodge sales, and seasonal promotions).
- Support on delivery of key business projects and brand pillars in alignment with overall marketing strategy.
- Take ownership of influencer strategy and key communications across both brands.
- Translate strategy into actionable campaign calendars and briefs.
- Manage timelines, priorities, and approvals to ensure smooth delivery.
- Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Reservations, Spa, F&B, etc.) to align marketing activity with business goals.
- Digital & Performance Marketing
- Support delivery of digital marketing activity, including PPC, SEO, and web optimisation (working with agencies or internal resources as needed).
- Monitor and report on website traffic, campaign results, and booking performance.
- Support CRM management, email automation, and customer journey optimisation.
- Communications, PR & Influencer Strategy
- Support with PR, media, and influencer outreach in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Identify and coordinate influencer and partnership opportunities aligned to brand values.
- Develop communications plans that support campaigns, launches, and key brand initiatives.
- Ensure all communications maintain consistent tone, quality, and brand alignment.
- Content & Creative Coordination
- Work with the team to deliver engaging social, email, and website content.
- Support with photography and video briefs, ensuring creative assets reflect brand quality and objectives.
- Support copywriting and proofing to maintain consistent tone of voice across both brands.
- Reporting & Insights
- Produce regular marketing performance reports with actionable insights.
- Track ROI and KPIs across channels (bookings, enquiries, engagement, etc.).
- Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and impact.
- Team & Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and Executives to plan and deliver campaigns.
- Offer support across all marketing channels to ensure consistency and quality.
- Coordinate external suppliers (designers, photographers, agencies, influencers) as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' marketing experience within a similar role (hospitality, travel, or leisure preferred).
- Strong campaign and project management skills.
- Experience managing PR, influencer, or partnership activity.
- Confident using digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, CMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in project planning and meeting multiple deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience supporting or collaborating with a marketing team.
- Understanding of SEO principles and paid media campaigns.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data segmentation.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva for content creation.
