At Season, we believe everyone is capable of creating exceptional food and drink. We turn curious cooks into confident creators. We’re looking for a Store Manager for our flagship Islington store who loves coaching people and will protect and elevate our signature customer experience – helping every customer feel more confident, inspired, and capable when they leave than when they arrived.

The role is a hands-on leadership role in a modern cookshop. You’ll spend your days developing people, keeping standards high, and making sure the shop feels warm and brilliantly run. It’s not about pushing volume - it’s about creating exceptional experiences, consistently.

What you’ll do:

  • Coach daily – raise the bar through clarity, feedback, and care.
  • Develop your team – get to know what makes each person tick and build real development journeys.
  • Own the customer experience end-to-end – warm welcomes, great questions, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine “wow” moments.
  • Keep operations crisp – rotas, merchandising, stock accuracy, cash and compliance, and a tidy back-of-house.
  • Use feedback and a few simple KPIs to improve week by week – without losing the magic.

This role is not a by-the-numbers shop job. We’re ambitious, hands-on, and we hold a high bar. You’ll lead from the front, model the behaviours you want to see, and build a team that takes pride in doing things properly.

You bring:

  • Experience leading a retail or hospitality team.
  • A strong coaching mindset – you enjoy helping people grow and perform with confidence.
  • Confidence with rotas, stock, and day-to-day operations.
  • Warmth under pressure, good judgement, and a calm, positive presence.
  • A genuine love of food and helping people learn.

What you can expect:

  • A supportive, high-standards environment with real autonomy.
  • The chance to shape how a brilliant cookshop feels – for customers and for the team.

The package:

  • Competitive salary, real autonomy, exceptional opportunities for development, staff discount.
