We’re looking for a hands-on, knowledgeable, and people-focused Meat & Seafood Manager to lead our department with expertise and heart. You’ll oversee daily operations, drive sales, inspire your team, and keep quality and freshness top priority. Responsibilities:
- Lead and train team members to deliver top-notch service and expertly cut products
- Maintain high standards of freshness, safety, cleanliness, and merchandising
- Manage ordering, inventory, pricing, and margin goals
- Monitor department financials and drive performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, labeling, and health regulations
- Respond to customer inquiries and build lasting relationships
- Perform regular inventory and uphold shrink control measures
- Collaborate with store leadership on promotions and displays
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of meat cutting experience; leadership or assistant manager experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of meat and seafood products, cuts, and handling
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
