Working for a Christian Charity in the centre of Stockport, we are looking for volunteers to help test and refurbish all types of appliances from washing machines to hair dryers and everything in between. We also would like volunteers to be willing to clean, polish, and price the devices they've tested ready to present in the shop for the lovely people of Stockport to buy without having to spend a lot of money.

Volunteers can benefit from a range of benefits including training, travel expenses, and staff discount.

  • Electrical background is helpful but not at all necessary.
  • Very basic I.T. skills preferable.
  • 18+ years old.
  • Willing to perform varied tasks to achieve the overall goal.
  • Willing to learn from others and offer solutions to problems.
  • If experience with online selling platforms, we also sell through these, so opportunities to work on these platforms too.

Health and Safety procedures must be followed including wearing PPE i.e. safety boots.
