You will be an essential part of Cats Protection’s local fundraising efforts. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and managing stalls at various fundraising events.
  • Assisting on collection days such as supermarket collection events or Pets at Home partnership days.
  • Helping at a variety of fundraising events, including quiz nights, cake sales, and dance events.
  • Promoting a professional image of Cats Protection during all public-facing activities.
  • Collaborating with other fundraising team members to create meaningful connections with the local community and spread awareness of Cats Protection.

Time expectation: This role offers flexible volunteering opportunities. You can choose to volunteer at just one event for a few hours or attend multiple events. We will keep you informed of upcoming local events where volunteers are needed, and you can then decide which events and how many hours you would like to commit.

Location: Primary focus is Stockport, with the possibility of participating in events across Greater Manchester if you are able to travel a little further afield. This can be discussed at any time during onboarding or throughout your volunteer journey.

Other: Driving is beneficial but not essential for this role.
