You’ll understand the unique needs of parents in your area and play a crucial role in improving their wellbeing. This is a flexible role that can fit around your availability.

You’ll have the opportunity to support local parents by leading one of our easy‑to‑set‑up regular events, such as a Bumps & Babies group or a Walk and Talk, or by helping to organise one of our popular NCT Nearly New Sales.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Planning and leading one of our local activities or services to support parents.

  • Attracting and welcoming helpers for your activity.

  • Welcoming to all parents and a good listener.
Time Commitment:

This is a flexible role that can fit around your other commitments and availability. The time you’ll spend volunteering will vary depending on the type and frequency of the activity you choose to run, with as little as 2 hours per month being an option. We’re ideally looking for Community Volunteers who can commit for at least 3 months.

What you can expect from us:
  • A great volunteer experience where you can meet new people and develop skills.
  • Excellent support from experienced volunteers and our Volunteering Team.
