Summary
- Experience of planning, preparing and delivering learning/activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes, as directed by the class teacher/Lead
- Experience of participating in the planning and evaluation of learning activities
- Experience of assessing and reporting on pupil development, progress and attainment
- Experience of a range of effective, positive behaviour management strategies
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND, including implementing support plans and Education Health Care Plans
- Experience of working with other professionals
- Experience of actively promoting safeguarding procedures in school
- Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early years outcomes
- Knowledge and understanding of child development
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements
- Willingness to attend to the medical needs of individuals
- Use ICT effectively to support teaching and learning
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
