Overview
Properties Project Administrator – Join Seasalt as a full‑time, permanent role. The position supports both the Retail Design Manager (UK & Ireland) and the Property Manager on all properties projects across the existing store estate and new stores. The role involves procurement, receipting of all project‑related items (including Purchase Order raising), furniture and fixtures stock checking, and preparing new store items before set up. It is a collaborative position that develops and maintains relationships with suppliers and engages with project stakeholders to keep projects on track.
This role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of the working week) and can be performed remotely within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Retail Design Manager (UK & Ireland) and the Property Manager in sourcing and procuring new suppliers and managing supplier and contractor relationships.
- Having a detailed understanding of CAPEX budget and knowledge of project costs, ensuring budget lines are coded correctly.
- Raising, reviewing, and receipting purchase orders related to project items, ensuring timely turnaround.
- Coordinating with the Finance team to ensure understanding across departments of planned spend.
- Proactively engaging with peers from other departments such as Retail, Finance or Technology to coordinate project work and actions, ensuring agreed deadlines and actions are met.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure delivery dates, availability, lead times and capacity are met.
- Checking all products on delivery and preparing items for new stores.
- Supporting the project management of UK and Ireland new and existing store projects, including fit‑out and roll‑out projects from inception through to delivery and successful completion.
- Assisting in preparation of documents for obligatory project consents, including landlord and authority consents (planning permissions, etc.), to ensure works are approved prior to completion.
- Arranging weekly project meetings with key stakeholders across the business and taking minutes.
- Deputising for the Retail Design Manager (UK & Ireland) on project calls when they are absent.
Skills & Qualifications
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role.
- Finance literacy.
- Goal‑focused, able to prioritise and multi‑task to meet concurrent deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
