As our Employee Communications and Engagement Advisor, you’ll help employees feel informed, connected and engaged at Seasalt. Reporting to the Employee Communications and Engagement Manager, you’ll create clear communications and engagement activity that bring our purpose, culture and priorities to life. Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll support consistent, people-focused communication and create opportunities for employee voice. You’ll also help deliver engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives, using employee feedback and insight to strengthen the overall employee journey.
Please note this is a full-time permanent contract. As part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week but the nature of some roles may require more working time in our head offices) and remotely within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Creating and sharing regular employee communications, including newsletters and business updates
- Managing a communications and engagement calendar to support key business priorities
- Working with teams across the business to ensure messages reflect our tone of voice and values
- Supporting the planning and delivery of town halls, events and business updates that encourage employee voice
- Sourcing stories and content that connect everyday work to company values and goals
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives, events and employee networks
- Managing employee surveys and listening activity, from planning through to follow up
- Promoting wellbeing initiatives and resources and supporting recognition activity
- Updating and improving internal platforms, content and communication channels
- Using employee feedback and data to identify trends, share insight and support improvements
Qualifications
- Experience in employee communications, engagement, events or marketing
- Ability to write clear, engaging content for different audiences and channels
- Experience supporting engagement initiatives, campaigns or events
- Skilled in gathering and using employee feedback, both written and numerical, to shape employee journey
- Ability to turn data and insight into practical recommendations
- Strong organisation skills, with experience managing multiple pieces of work at once
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders at different bands
- Ability to explain complex information in a simple, accessible way
- Familiarity with employee engagement or Human Resources systems and platforms
- A people-focused mindset, with an interest in culture, wellbeing and employee experience
