At Seasalt, creativity is in our DNA. We began in 1981 in a small shop in Penzance, crafting workwear for local mariners and artists. Today, we’re a modern lifestyle brand with over 80 shops across the UK and Ireland, 400+ wholesale stockists, and a growing global presence. We may have grown, but we’ve always stayed true to our roots with Cornwall’s artistic influence and maritime heritage woven into every garment. As a certified B Corp and winner of Drapers “Best Place to Work” in 2024, we’re proud to balance our culture with long-term growth.
To support our Garment Technology team, we are currently looking for a Womenswear size 10 Fit Model to attend regular sample fit sessions with our garment technologists. We are dedicated to delivering garments that offer a consistently excellent fit for our customers. As part of our product development process, each sample is tried on by a Fit Model who provides feedback on fit and comfort. Our technologists also assess the garments and provide their own comments to ensure the best possible outcome.
Please note, this is a flexible contract based in our Falmouth Head Office, requiring the model to be available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with flexibility to work other days when required. You will be required to come in for a minimum of 3.5 hours a week.
You’ll help us by:
- Attending regular fit sessions at designated times (usually Tuesdays or Thursdays, though there will occasionally be a requirement on other days).
- Maintaining the body measurements required for a size 10 fit model to ensure an excellent fit for our customers:
- Bust (measured at fullest point) - 88cm 34 B/C
- Waist (measured at natural waist) - 71cm
- Hip (measured at the widest point) - 98cm
- Height approximately 5 ft 6"
- Providing feedback on garment fit and comfort.
- Attending additional sessions as required during peak times.
The skills you’ll be sharing with the team:
- Excellent communicator.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to work other days where required.
You will also need to meet the measurements listed above for a Seasalt size 10 and be able to maintain this measurement consistently to ensure our customers get their perfect fit in every purchase.
Why we hope you’ll love working with us:
