  • Designing for menswear with a strong awareness of fabric, fit, drape, and silhouette and proportion to ensure effortless wearability for the customer, reflecting the brand’s signature aesthetic.
  • Sourcing and developing premium, sustainable and profitable fabrications, textures, and finishes that align with the brand’s ethos of quality and longevity.
  • Ensuring fabric choices enhance functionality of the designs, supported by technical.
  • Exploring innovative techniques that reduce waste, optimise material usage, and enhance circularity.
  • Creating precise technical drawings, design packs and specifications for design development samples.
  • Working closely with the supply base to refine design, fit, proportion and detailing, ensuring a seamless handover to Technical.
  • Leading during fittings and development sampling, ensuring each garment meets the highest standards of design, quality and craftsmanship.
  • Partnering with the Design, Buying and Merchandising teams to balance creativity with commerciality, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative that will appear across campaigns.
  • Presenting and articulating design concepts to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the brand vision, including branding considerations where appropriate.
  • Communicating clearly with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient problem-solving in line with the critical path and updating PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
