A well-established security manufacturer specialising in high-security automated gate systems is expanding its northern engineering team and is looking for an Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer to cover Leeds and surrounding areas. This is a field-based service and repair role, working on a range of automated gate and perimeter security systems across commercial sites.
Key Duties of the Gate & Barrier Engineer:
- Service and repair automatic gate systems
- Maintain traffic barriers, bollards and security blockers
- Diagnose faults on gate automation and control systems
- Carry out force testing and safety checks
- Replace motors, control boards and safety devices
- Ensure systems meet safety and compliance standards
- Provide professional on-site customer support
Key Skills & Background:
- Experience working with automatic gates or barriers
- Strong electrical fault finding skills
- Knowledge of gate automation systems
- Comfortable working in a field-based role
- Good understanding of safety standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with brands such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, Nice or similar automation systems would be advantageous.
Pay, Benefits and Working hours:
- £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary
- Door-to-door
